STRATEGIC BUSINESS MILESTONE FOR LUXEMBOURG CAPITAL

After the successful completion of its dedicated fund's existing pipeline, the shareholders of Luxembourg Capital Holding S.A. took the decision earlier this year to contain its dedicated SICAV SIF and exit the regulated fund management business. 

 

As we entered our second decade of successfully developing and financing real estate projects, Luxembourg Capital today is eager to continue its legacy with an increased focus on is primary conviction which is to put its efforts in the development of purely shareholder financed projects of societal value.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP - RHEINISCHE GRUNDBESITZ AG

CLuxembourg Capital has entered a strategic partnership with Rheinnische Grundbesitz AG, a privately held, Swiss based Real Estate investment Firm specialising in the long-term management of properties.

 

Through Nest Invest, a private joint-venture company, Luxembourg Capital together with Rheinische Grundbesitz AG will extend their real estate operations in Luxembourg.

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS FOR OMNIA TOWER

Constructions for Omnia Tower, a 15-story building, comprising 106 luxury apartments and one bank on ground and first floor, is showing good progress.

The delivery of the apartments to their new occupants is set to take place in Q4 2022.

PLANNING ON CENTRAL SQUARE - FULL STEAM AHEAD

In cooperation with the Architectural office M3, Luxembourg Capital is part of a strategic urban development project on the Square Mile in Belval.

The project is part of a planning commission that is formed together with the town, five development companies as well as the public-private development company AGORA and it's Master Planner KCAP. In a national competition Luxembourg Capital has been attributed LOT 45, a 14000 sqm mixed use project on the Place des Bassins.

Luxembourg Capital has acquired together with UNIK Funds prime project in Bridel, Luxembourg.

 

This high-end luxury residential project will comprise around 20 apartments and penthouses and is situated in the heart of Luxembourgs most sought after residential area. The famous architectural office CBA has received the mission to plan and design the different building blocks of the project.

SOUTHLANE TOWER II DELIVERED

Southlane Tower II has been successfully delivered to its first tenants.

 

The building is the third and last building of the Southlane project with a total of 33000 sqm of build area. Southlane Tower II has a total of 2000 sqm of retail area, 5000 sqm of office space and 124 parking spaces. Among its most prominent tenants are Tadaweb and the Luxembourg Ministry of Health.

Following 7 years of cooperation, Gilles Bindels, Founder of Luxembourg Capital has bought back the shares of Luxembourg Capital Holding from his long term partner, Mr Joachim Gussner. This strategic acquisition makes his private Holding, with 93% of the shares, the absolute majority shareholder of the group.

 

The remaining percentage is spread among the management of the company, aligning the long-term interests and development among the decision makers.

Construction works on Southlane Tower II are progressing very well with construction in line with planning.

 

Currently the construction company is working on the first floor and the structure of floor it is projected to be terminated by the end of 2019. Construction of the building structure has started End of September 2018. TRALUX Construction (www.tralux.lu) have been appointed as General Contractor.

AGORA TO BEAT ALL RECORDS

This week Agora has presented its annual results for the site of Belval. With 43,000 sqm placed in 2018, the urban development company beats once again all records for the sales of land in Belval.

 

Luxembourg Capital is proud to be part of the success story of Belval, being the first private investor on site with more than 15,000 sqm delivered, and a further 30,000 sqm under planning or construction.

Congratulations to CLE, Compagnie Luxembourgeoise d'Entreprises who has been entrusted the construction of the iconic OMNIA RESIDENCE TOWER.

 

Standing 16 floors tall, this landmark building designed by MORENO ARCHITECTURE comprises one bank and ground and first floor as well as 106 apartments over a total surface of 9,700 sqm. This project has been co-developed by LUXEMBOURG CAPITAL and IKO REAL ESTATE.

Following receipt of regulatory approval from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (“CSSF”), Centaur has completed its purchase of Luxembourg Capital Partners S.A.

 

This is exciting news for Centaur as we continue to receive a number of enquiries from funds and related entities seeking administration services in this favourable tax and legal regime. Centaur’s Luxembourg office is now open for business and will focus on servicing private equity and real estate funds and related corporate entities.
